A Fleur de Peau - Fine Art Print
This collage was inspired by bridal lingerie. Having two close friends getting married in June, I guess it occupied my mind unconsciously! I tried to represent the delicacy of lingerie lace with tiny flowers. I used flowers from my mum's garden, white paint and paper.
In French, we say "A fleur de peau", or "On the edge of your skin", to describe someone sensitive. I like the wordplay between the words "Fleur" (flower) and "Peau" (skin) and thought it would fit perfectly with this piece.
